Everyone, It was wonderful to see your faces again yesterday and hear snippets of your stories. Imagine how much worse this pandemic’s effects would be without Zoom, facetime etc? Talk about isolation!

More books I highly recommend for any of us wishing to delve further into our whiteness and it’s privileges:

Waking up White by Debby Irving

White Fragility

Me and White Supremacy…this is for anyone wanting to dig a little deeper into our own private version of racism.

I have also just joined our local NAACP-I haven’t been to a meeting yet but am looking forward to it.

See you next time and be well,

No more Falling Lelly!

 Nanny-Co

I get so excited to see and chat with others, I'm back to my elementary school challenge of "speaking out of turn." (I was just as inclined to be in trouble for not "staying in my seat" in grade school ...).

>> Here is the song that my sister Peggy wrote for her Threshold Choir. Sandy, you can access both song and sheet music on the Threshold website. The singing isn’t perfect, because she’s performing all the parts herself on Garage Band, but it gives you an idea of the sort of music she (and Sandy) are doing. It’s such a worthwhile cause, and I know they all miss performing now that the pandemic has closed everything down.
