> Hi Marian, I do indeed remember Courtney and this painting very well. It was started in Florence in 1966. I had been living there since September of '65, and came back to the US about 3 weeks after the flood in  November of '66. Courtney posed for the painting and appears on the right, I am depicted in a white shirt, the others are friends of the time.
