It was started in Florence in 1966. I had been living there since September of '65, and came back to the US about 3 weeks after the flood in November of '66. Courtney posed for the painting and appears on the right, I am depicted in a white shirt, the others are friends of the time.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">Please give my best to Courtney, best,Joe</div></div>
