TRUCHAS CHRISTMAS PARTY SET FOR DEC. 3


Truchas Chapter's annual Christmas Party and dinner is scheduled for 6 p.m.
on Dec. 3 at the Cowgirl restaurant in Santa Fe.  All Truchas members are
invited, as is *anyone* interested in the Chapter's work.  The get-together
will include cocktails, dinner and general membership meeting. Among other
things, attendees will be brought up to date on chapter news and a variety
of conservation- related projects that are planned or under way.  In
addition, a presentation is planned by officials of Albuquerque-based New
Mexico Trout describing and explaining their proposal that Rio Guadalupe be
designated an "Outstanding National Resource Water."  Anyone familiar with
the Rio Guadalupe as a fishery and its watershed will be interested.  *Plan
now to attend.*
