KO knows that we are due at the Essex Steam Train and Boat ride at 1:30 pm, for a 2:00 pm departure. It is about one hour from KO to the train. We have a block of 30 tickets at the Essex Steam train, $30 group rate, each. I mentioned a few places to stay in my last email but Lelly reminded me that Old Saybrook is nearby. I will take the AMTRAK train home to Wilmington from there on Monday. There are some lovely hotels in Old Saybrook, at various prices…. Saybrook Point Inn, Water’s Edge and others.</span></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;line-height:16.866667px;font-size:11pt;" class="yiv2082240553MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;"><br clear="none"></span></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;line-height:16.866667px;font-size:11pt;" class="yiv2082240553MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;">I think it was Joan Holcomb Prior who suggested that we honor in some way our deceased classmates, when we gift to KO in honor of our 60th reunion. In the past we have given to the fund that was set up in honor of Courtney. It grants scholarships to students of the arts. I am hoping for some ideas of how we might honor our five deceased classmates: Buena Hamlin Chilstrom, Nancy Mallet Fry, Margaret Kearns, Nancy Shepard Nation, and MJ Vineburgh.
