Dear Class -

After much vetting, Maisie is now a therapy dog at the local
hospital. She visits patients and staff two afternoons a week. She's
a natural for making folks happy!
On to the List

Not all of us got the previous Zoom invitation. Our System
Administrator went back and pulled the logs. The invitation left our
mail server and went to everyone on the list. There
were problems, however. I had the wrong address for Lelly, and
oddly, Comcast had blocked our list server. The System Administrator
did not notice because our actual mail server was not blocked. At
the time, there were three Comcast users, but now just two. We did
get Comcast to lift the block, but maybe it could happen again.

There are still issues. Some of us did not get the
invitation because it went to the spam section of the email program.
That has to do with algorithms for spam at the receiver's end. Gmail
seems to be the worst, and many of us use Gmail. I cannot find a way
with Gmail to tell it to always accept mail from
oxford63@cyber-community.com. My suggestion would be that if you
find an Oxford email in your Spam mailbox, then move it to your
Inbox. Maybe that will trigger acceptance from Gmail. For the rest
of us, see if your email program has a spam control system where you
can tell it to always accept mail from the list.

Enough! I know we're not all techies. Sharon, let me know if you get
this as a Comcast subscriber. Barbara, let me know if this comes to
your Inbox or you Spam box in Gmail.

Anyhow, spring is in the air! I'm planting a fir tree that is about
a foot tall and threatens to someday reach 100 feet. Hope all goes
well for all of us.
