Jane - I’m sorry to have missed the last two Zoom gatherings. I’m still in Mexico trying to make my way safely back to New England ( two cancelled flights so far). Monday is my next try.
Thank you for keeping track of us. I’m not sure what info you have. Here’s my most recent address:
641 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, CT, 06070. Phone: 860-462-2318. Email the same for now.
Athena is quite gorgeous and the tortoise tracker idea suits both of you perfectly. I’m so thankful for glimpsing her and for your great sense of humor.
Take care and hopefully I’ll see you in September ( there’s a song, right?!)
💜🐬Sandy

Come mid-May, the evenings are warm enough that she can enjoy some blissful months in the walled, front garden. For now, however, the evenings are still too cold to let her loose. A couple weeks ago the daytime temperature hit 70, and I took her out for the afternoon. More recently, we have had some more warm days. The problem is that I need to be able to retrieve her in the evening when the temperature drops. Given my poor vision and her natural camouflage, she is impossible to locate. My solution is a "tortoise tracker".
