For another  blast form the past if you are local or in town visiting, there is an exhibit until April 30 at the CT Historical Society on Elizabeth Street featuring 
"Beatrice Fox Auerbach (1887-1968) is one of the most famous women in Connecticut history. Mention her or the G. Fox & Co. department store to anyone over 40 who grew up in Connecticut, and you’re bound to hear a personal story or recollection."A very progressive business woman! and of course Rena's grandmother.Alana
