Since Art turned 80 two weeks after I turned 70, we had a joint 150th birthday party surrounded by family on both sides, who came and stayed for the whole weekend.  The whole works: birthday bash, picnic at the Seacoast Science Center at Odiorne Point, NH, a lobster party, and breakfast Sunday brunch.  Folks came from Canada, San Francisco, NJ, OH, AZ, NH and Maine.  A grand time for all!

And my best news of all is the arrival on June 21st of my first grandchild!  My daughter Cate and husband Karim have a little girl, Jema Virginia Cadbury Chajid, beautiful and healthy, and I am LOVING being a Grandmom!
