I am on the same page as you, Nancy . . . we should truly try to keep
everything simple.
I am going to email Nicole at K-O tomorrow re: photos and any costs.
If you could keep a spreadsheet, that would be wonderful
For me:
KO Lunch & Dinner - yes
Sunday Brunch - not sure yet as may be visiting with family
Yoga - No

I'm for attending lunch and dinner at the school. That way we can all
meet up around noon. We can then participate or not in the afternoon
activities offered by the school or by us. Might be a good time for the yoga class
which I am opting out of (or should I write, "of which I am opting out" or
"out of which I am opting"?) I see the dinner as a time to do more
visiting without having to plan. Brunch on Sunday sounds great. I'm happy to
help out with that one.
I see nothing on the KO schedule about class photos, so I'm assuming
that's one that we arrange ourselves.
Does anyone know how much the KO events cost? I haven't seen any
information about that.
I am planning to bring my husband to the reunion so I'm glad to learn,
Barbara, that Alan is coming as well.
If you like, I can keep a spreadsheet of what events people plan to attend
and whether or not a partner will accompany. Let me know.
Looking forward to seeing you all,
Nancy
In sum for me:
KO Lunch: yes
KO Dinner: yes
Our Brunch: yes
Our Yoga: no

My house is on Bloomfield Ave right next to the University of Hartford and
10 minutes from the KO campus. My house and patio though small are sweet
and would provide a good place to land at lunch time to eat, drink, talk and
screw up our courage to go have the picture taken. So that could happen
1-5ish. So, there is a place close by to spend some hours together.
Let's hear the consensus on dinner after a class photo? Outside venue? at
KO? when do you want the yoga class to happen? at Watkinson - noontime?
followed by lunch at my house which is right there?
I cannot over commit to super organization or cooking since that is my
comment writing weekend followed by final meetings at school - but I can sure
offer my space, the time and an open heart. Keep the suggestions coming and
someone step in to help us decide on the evening. I assume we are still
thinking Sunday brunch with Claudia, right?

Who takes the picture? Is there a photographer there who does it, or is it
something
we set up? Is there a specific place where classes take pictures ... or
does each class
just do what they want?
As far as timing goes, I suggest something close to dinner (5:30?) so
those of us who
do not want to hang out at Kingswood during the day don't have to go back
and forth
(from wherever we are).
BTW, Banbury Lane option is a no go. Too bad, it would have been a great
spot to have
a gathering. Is anyone who lives in W Hartford area able to
offer a place for lunch and hanging out Sat afternoon before dinner? I
know you, Lelly,
mentioned your place. As far as I'm concerned, as I mentioned before,
lunch can be no
hassle ... everyone bring a bag lunch, or we could order pizza ...
whatever. I just look
forward to spending time with you all and being able to sit and talk. It
has been awhile ...
we must have a lot of stories to tell!!
Hugs to all -
Debbie

Would the Oxford Tea at 3 p.m. in Oxford Hall be an opportunity for
all of us in one place for an Oxford class of '63 photo?--wherever Oxford
Hall is...
The Alumni Hall Dinner seems reserved for the 50th reunion which I assume
means Kingswood and Oxford, right?
